The Thunder got off to a 16-4 lead, but the Tornoto Raptors stormed back when their guard DeMar DeRozan got hot, finishing the first quarter shooting 7 for 9 and hanging on to a 112-102 win over Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
DeRozan’s surge altered the game. And the Thunder stumbled in the second and third quarters. Toronto took a 14-point lead that the Thunder couldn’t break.
“Our intensity dropped at the wrong time and they capitalized on our mistakes,” point guard Russell Westbrook said. “They hit some threes and got out in transition off our turnovers.”
